This picture shows the
completed setup. The two SR 2000mah batteries are on the left.
Each JR 549X receiver is on each side of the rudder servos. The EMS
Jomar servo reverser is at the top left (yellow).
NOTE: On 8/31/2001 I removed the servo
reverser and used the programming mix mode to reverse the servo. |

This picture shows the Harris
smoke pump. If you haven't tried these you really should. They
are made from surgical pumps and will spit smoke oil like nobody's
business! The pump is hooked to the gear switch. Right behind
the wing tube are the leads for the aileron servos. |
 |
Another view of the batteries,
wiring, receivers, switches, antenna tubes, etc. I used super velcro
to secure the receivers. If you haven't tried it you should - holds
stuff great. |
 |
A view of the elevator servo
leads. The wires were twisted using a hand drill. The antenna
tubes are made from large soda straws taped together. I think they
are from Arby's.......! |
 |
Another view of the servo
leads at the horizontal stab exit point. I use foam all around to
prevent chafing. I taped the ends of the antennas to keep them from
sliding back down the tubes. If I ever need to pull them out I just
pull the tubes out since they are very flexible. |
