Welcome to RRCC!
RRCC promotes the aeromodeling hobby through fun, fellowship and learning.
With a membership of 110-plus, RRCC has experience in all aspects of radio controlled modeling, including sport, scale, pattern and combat. We also enjoy RC helicopters, boats and cars.
Our flying site is located at Bratonia Park in northeast Collin County, Texas. The site is leased to RRCC by the Collin County Open Space Commission. RRCC maintains the flying site which includes shelters and a paved 50' x 350' runway. The Bratonia Park Flying Site is open to the general public during flying hours. AMA membership is required to fly at our site.
Through a robust training program, RRCC is actively engaged in the training and development of new radio controlled pilots. Training is free to new club members. RRCC is also actively involved in promoting the aeromodeling hobby through participation with local schools and community events.
RRCC club meetings are held the first Thursday of the month at the Gladys Harrington Library in Plano. The meetings begin at 7:00 PM. See the Directions page for directions.
